Warby Parker Headquarters

Project Details

This project was for a new headquarters location in Savannah, Georgia for the eyeglass brand, Warby Parker. With in the interior of their stores, this company is known for colorful murals and books to give off the quirky vibe of the company. The goal was to keep these two aspects consistent through this design.

The concept for this project is Refined Refractions. Materiality is used to push concept in the design. By adding in natural, clean and simple materials as well as bold colors combined with well constructed patterns allows the user to feel focused and create clarity from within. This is how one feels when they have proper eye wear, relieved and clear. On the other hand, there are out-of-focus areas which are shown through hammered glass and reflective coppers. The user may experience skewed visuals where this materiality is placed. This how one feels when they do not have proper eye wear, skewed and distorted.

Floor Plan

The overall floor plan was designed for multiple open hoteling stations with semi-private meeting/huddle rooms pocketed between. This encourages collaboration in a workplace, these areas are located towards the windows of the building to ensure that the majority of the employees have access to

natural views and sunlight. Added walls were placed along the side perimeter or near to allow maximum daylight to stretch along the space with little interruptions.
